Below are the Angel's names with links to the wallpaper selections they are featured in. You will first see "little pics" of them that you can click on to see what they look like full size. Do NOT save the "little pics" as they won't look right, but instead CLICK on the little picture and save the next page you see.

Instructions are on those pages and the words that are on the following pages will not be on your desktop.....just the picture will be.

If you are on AOL, you need to check something out before doing the wallpaper or it could be blurry. If you've already done a wallpaper and found it blurry, just follow these steps and then go back to the paper you were wanting to use and redo it.

On the AOL screen, look for "My AOL" or "Settings"
Click on "My AOL" or "Settings"
Go to "preferences"
Go to "WWW"
Go to "Web Graphics"
UNCHECK the box there that says "use compressed graphics"
HIT APPLY

I don't know why AOL has this checked automatically, but when it is checked you will not see graphics the way they are intended to be seen. Now go to the wallpaper and follow the directions to save it and presto......you have it!

After you select your wallpaper, if you would like the text on your desktop, under your icons and folders, to "match" the desktop, there is a program to help you with this. The pictures of the 2 icons below demonstrate what I mean. The picture on the left has the "matching" color, so the text appears transparent, while the picture on the right shows how you have a "color block" under your icon if you do not want it to "match."

     

Double click the following file and save it to your computer. After you unzip it, simply double click it and the icon will be in your taskbar, by your clock. Your icons should be transparent right away and you can right-click the icon to change the text color if you like. It's very easy!

DISPLAY SETTINGS

Before going on to the selections, you need to know your display setting so that you can make the proper selection. You will need to click on the screen size below to see the list of wallpaper available in your screen size. If you do not know what setting yours is, there are directions for finding this out under the links below.

These wallpapers will work for the following screen sizes:

1024 x 768
800 x 600
640 x 480

To determine your screen size, go to a blank area of the desktop and right-click, selecting "properties." Go the the "Settings" tab on the top and single-click that. On the right side of this window, you should see "Screen Area" - that is what you need to know.

When you see what your setting is at, come back here and go to that area. If you still have questions on how to check your display setting, please feel free to and I'll be glad to help.
