I know that some collectors might not know which Seraphim Classics© Angels came with a Certificate of Authenticity and which ones didn't. I hope this section helps you disvover which Angels in your collection did come with a Certificate of Authenticity.

ALL Limited Edition Angels have always come with a Certificate of Authenticity.

The 7" Angels are a little different. The 4 Seraphim Classics© 7" Angels that did not have a Certificate of Authenticity are:

Dawn
Ophelia
Constance
Seraphina

Roman, Inc© did not start including Certificates of Authenticity with the 7" Angels until 1997. The 4 Angels listed above were both produced and either Retired or Closed before 1997 - when Roman started issuing Certificates with all of their 7" Angels.

Now that doesn't mean that if you bought a particular Angel in 1996 that she doesn't have a certificate available. Let me explain.

Let's take Gabriel for example. Gabriel was introduced in 1996, before Roman put a certificate with each 7" Angel. There will be some collectors that had a Certificate of Authenticity come with their Gabriel and others that did not have one with theirs. If you purchased Gabriel in 1996, yours would not have a Certiciate of Authenticity. However, if you call, write or email Roman, they will send you a Certificate of Authenticity for any Seraphim Classics© Angel that is not Retired or Closed. They may have a few on hand of Retired or Closed Editions, but once they run out, there are no more Certificates produced for that Angel. If you purchased Gabriel in 1998, assuming the store did not have it in stock for 2 years, that Gabriel would have had a Certificate with it. That is why some collectors will have one in the box upon purchase, while others did not.
